In House Lab Services

Lab services may need to be used in order to understand exactly what your pet needs.

We have an extensive range of tests and equipment to ensure that you and your pet receive the highest quality of care.

Electrocardiodiagramn  (ECG)

An ECG is a piece of machinery that specializes in measuring electrical impulses of the heart. With this machine, we are able to diagnose your pet based on their heart rhythm. With this information, we are able to determine if there is an issue with the heart overall or if this is caused by another potential condition.

Our in-house veterinary laboratory features diagnostic testing for the following:

  • Bloodwork: CBC, Panel, T4, FELV/FIV testing
  • Urinalysis and Sediment examination
  • Cytology of skin & ear samples
  • Distemper & Parvo titer testing in lieu of annual vaccinations for dogs
  • Fecal testing for intestinal parasites
  • Occult heartworm, Lymes, Erhlichra testing
  • Parvo tests
  • Feline heartworm Ag tests
  • Pulse Oximetery Monitor

If your pet has an issue with breathing or if they happen to be undergoing surgery with a general anesthetic, a pulse oximeter is a great option for monitoring their heart rate and blood oxygen levels. We often will utilize this in any situations where there is a pet in respiratory distress.

Radiology

We can perform X-Rays on your pet if they have been in an accident or are displaying signs of pain. Our x-ray technician will prepare your pet and take the necessary x-rays. We are able to develop the x-rays on site and determine if there is anything wrong with your pet.
